The saying goes: "Lies are like fire."
This is true. Lies, like fire, can protect you, save, you. Keep you warm, cook your food. They can also burn and kill you in the most agonisingly slow and painful deaths to be imagined in man's collective mind. Hypocrisy, lies.. both need to be moderated in order to hurt no-one.
To be hurt by lies is a pain even death itself wouldn't know. especially by those you trust. To have your own trust abused, and your own reality melded by another's, is just as stated above: a horrible, burning fate. A fascinating fact: almost all lies, even 'white' lies, if discovered prematurely, instantly can convert to 'hurtful' 'blackened' lies.
