Reality

What is real?
In all honesty, reality and fiction are seemingly determined nowadays by our own minds, in the same fashion as right and wrong. There are millions of realities, some belonging to our universe, and others... who knows. Your own reality is nothing but what you make it.
To quote star wars, 'your focus determines your reality.'
To think of reality in quite a figurative fashion, imagine a giant construct, in which every human being lives. They live inside a cubicle/chamber, and never leave. they watch the outside world grow as it (nature) does. But for each person, the view is slightly different.
Why?
Personal reality, my friends, is nothing but a window.
That window can be shattered, stained, pockmarked, cracked, it can be dirtied or polished to total clarity, or widened/lengthened by whatever means necessary.
But reality will remain a window. It is determined by innumerous factors: where you live, your mental thought processes, moral and cultural upbringing.
The good ol' Nature vs. Nurture: does the tomato plant grow better than others because the soil is better? or because it was genetically 'better' than other plants?
The only possible communal reality is the truth - the fresh, cold air outside your window - and unfortunately, the truth is never something that everyone can totally possess.
In order for everyone to attain total truth is if humanity became a hive-mind, knowing and seeing all as one.
And that wouldn't give any governments ANY oil.
The truth is universal - not simply the knowledge of reality on our planet, but everything. It is a promising thought, that this at least is inevitable.
